Hellooooo out there! Anyone home?

HI Everyone,

I'm pretty embarrassed!  It's been over two years since I made a blog post.  Life has gotten the better of me lately.  As many of you know, my role at the university changed.  I became department chair, and then my colleague and I received a large state grant to start an Autism Center of Excellence on our campus.  It has just been completely and utterly overwhelming.  In addition, we sold our house and moved to a new house.  I love the new place, and I'm so happy here.  I've been doing some sewing, but I just haven't had the energy for blogging.

I have had a few people tell me that they really miss my blog.  This warmed my heart.  Truthfully, I never know if the blog is just a bunch of rambling or not.  Hearing that folks actually missed the blog made me feel good.  One of my goals for the new year has been to resurrect it.  So, here it goes.  I'm going to try to get things going again here.  I probably won't be able to completely catch you up, but who knows.  Maybe I will be able to.  Or we'll just pick up at the here and now.

I'd love to hear from you, if you're still out there, so I know I am not talking into a tin can.  Haha!  Thanks in advance!
