I'm glad to see Sweet Pea is getting in on quilting. You'll have a lifelong partner in crime!

Deanna

My own little sweet pea started young and at 12 sells quilts and enters shows. What fun to share a love in my life with a love of my life.

It was so nice seeing you two. Thanks for driving up and spending the day with me. Sweet Pea is darling and you are so lucky that she likes to sew. Wish my daughter did, but she's just not into it. I had a great day with you guys and hope we can do it again soon.

Maggie Szafranski

Good for Sweet Pea! Looks great!

terriaw

Cute! How fun it must have been to see her starting to quilt. And she made such an adorable project.

Doris

What fun! I love to see kids learning how to sew-- I have a niece I want to get going, but, yikes--she's 14 already!!! And I ADORE Sweet Pea's haircut. ;-)

Going to read Carol's post...

p.s. feeling better today

Donna

Linda

What fun! And that's what it's all about right?

sherri

Sweet Pea's block is so cute...and she looks so happy!

Thimbleanna

Awww, isn't she a doll? Be careful -- she'll be raiding your stash!!!

Lynn

Wow! She did a great job! And she looks like she had fun.

Deb

That's great! She did a wonderful job. I'll have to remember a log cabin for my granddaughter's next project.

Deb

I forgot to ask how Sweet Pea (and you) like her Hello Kitty sewing machine?

Deb

I think Sweet Pea should have her own fan club! :) She did a fantastic job...I can't even paper piece. Maybe you could send her to VA to teach me how. :)

Just catching up on your blog...a week late.

liveacolorfullife

This is so cute. And Sweet Pea is just adorable!

Instant smile when I popped on to your blog and saw this cutie! She is growing up, Ms. Stephanie. I can imagine how you felt as I recall my Thursday night watching Noah play soccer in a pickup game with college boys. I was a little emo and tonight I am a little emo thinking that I do not have a little Sweet Pea to pass on my quilting love..Cute post!!!!

Candice

This is the sweetest post ever! I'm so happy that you and Sweet Pea can spend time together and bond over a common creative interest! I know that you both will look back on this in a couple of years and smile! :)

Lisa Lisa
