You might remember that last year, my friend, Melissa over at Baking for the Boys blog, posted all her cookie recipes for Christmas. Well, this year, she is posting all sorts of great recipes for your Christmas morning breakfast. She's had a lot of good ones. I just haven't had enough time to blog them. Today she posted this one...Grapefruit Cups in Wine Syrup. I love grapefruit, and this looks yummy. If you are still looking for some Christmas morning breakfast food, go check out Melissa's blog, Baking for the Boys. You won't be sorry. She only posts recipes she loves and has tried/perfected!
Ha! Thanks. Looks like I'm not the only one up late! :) Eggnog French Toast is my personal fave!

Hi Stephanie,
Thanks for sharing these recipes. I've never heard of this one before. I love grapefruit and usually squeeze some fresh ones each morning :D
Merry Christmas!

Ugh....I think we'll opt for cold cereal, lol! I don't like grapefruit OR wine!

I have to really laugh at Allie comment! Cold Cereal!! I agree with her - I don't like grapefruit and I think my family would be very upset to see this Christmas day. BUT, I'm sure she has some other good ideas. Thanks for the link!

Can you ask your friend what 'sanding sugar' is -in her Reindeer candy recipe?
Or, do any of you know?

@sisLH Sanding sugar is larger than granulated sugar and usually comes in different colors and is very sparkly. You can find it at Williams-Sonoma or maybe craft or baking supply stores. It will be labeled as "sanding sugar".
Grocery stores carry sparkly sugar sprinkles by Wilton, they vary is size, not really the same, but the reindeer won't know the difference! :)
