If you have had an interest in the dolls I've worked on, but you've felt intimidated about tackling an entire doll, Colleen Babcock is teaching an on-line class on how to construct, paint, and sculpt a doll face. I think I told you in the past, I thought Colleen's instruction on this is fabulous. I cannot draw a face to save my life, but with her instruction, I've been able to be pretty successful with it. The class is only $20 (currently on sale from $25), and it's only two lessons. Not a huge commitment. And you can just make a brooch (like the one in the picture), a fridge magnet, or a floral corsage. (Or, you can do all three if you want to.)
I may do it, just for more practice. I thought some of you might want to know about it, too.
Colleen is a great teacher. I can't say enough good things about her. And I have found that she is so accessible on-line and will help with any problems you tend to encounter.

Have a happy day, everyone!
Until next time,
Mama Pea
That little brooch is darling!!

Thanks so much for posting this Stephanie. I'm loving the fun chat we are having in the classroom at the minute - there's some hilarious stories! Thanks again.
