Hi Everyone! Sorry I have been gone for so long! My conference was amazing...and amazingly busy! It has taken me a while to recuperate. It was all fun and exciting, but very tiring. After that, I went to Tucson to see my parents, and we all road tripped together to California to visit my sister. A very fun visit, and we got to see Jay Leno live at a local comedy club. Now, we're back in Tucson, and I'm having a "working vacation." Next week, I leave for Utah for another conference. So, it's been hard to find the time to post. I'm not getting any sewing accomplished, but that's okay. (I did start a new knitted scarf. More on that later!) I'll try to carve out some time to show you some other fun stuff that's been going on.
I did want to let you know that The Quilted Fish Design Team is all geared up again and has another lineup of free projects for you. I wanted to share a couple of new links!
Jackie posted this tutorial for making a cute teacup and saucer. Isn't it great? Little girls would have a lot of fun with this at a tea party, and just think of the potential it has for showers, pincushions, or just something to hold doo-dads in your sewing room. Adorable!
And last week, Brooke posted this tutorial for a cute little mug rug. These can be so helpful for protecting your tables and make great gifts. Also, this is a great way to practice your free-motion quilting on a small project!
I am really loving working with this Sugar and Spice fabric. It is totally fun! I can't get enough of it! Next week is my turn. I have a fun, NO SEW project for you this time. Here's a little sneak peek for you:
This one is easy enough for you to do with kids this summer, too. I hope you will like it! It will post next Friday.
Well, I really need to run to get some work done. I hope I haven't lost all my readers after not posting for so long! I haven't read any blogs for a while either. I will be back to all your blogs and checking in as soon as I get this last presentation out from under me in a couple of weeks. I am sort of looking forward to getting back to normal life again!
Hope all is well with everyone!
Until next time,
Mama Pea
Thanks so much for the shout!!! You have been missed - look forward to your tutorial next!!!

Wow! You sound busy and I'm glad you're able to get some fun time in!
The little cup and saucer is so cute! How clever! And we can always use mug rugs.
So I guess I don't know what you do with your presentations?
Have a great time away!

I bet you ARE ready to head home. Being on the road is fun but there's no place like home . . . Oh yeah, I don't have a home :) - Glad you had a little time to blog - enjoy your time.
