One of my Quilted Fish Design Team members, Julie, told me about this website earlier this week. I was so busy this week, I really didn't have time to check it out until today. And, oh, my goodness, did I have fun. Donna Downey is doing "inspiration week." Every day this week, she has posted a video (sometimes up to 30-40 minutes in length) tutorial of how she has created these canvas pages using gesso, paint, stamps, image transfer, watercolor crayons, etc. It is AWESOME! Makes me want to drag out those supplies and start playing again. (Just say NO! Must stay on task with sewing!) But, even if I don't go and play, myself, it's fun to live vicariously through her. Check it out if you're into that kind of thing. She had giveaways each day. But on the 19th, she's having a big giveaway. So, you might want to hop on over there and check out that day's video at least. See what you think!
Julie, you're a bad girl. You might get me in trouble. :-)
I'll have to check it out. On a winter break from saw blades, I have now painted my first canvass painting using acrylics. I'll have to take a picture and send it to you. I like it -definately want to do more that way.
