Here is a really neat project! Em is looking for people who want to make quilt blocks to go with each page in this book. These are paintings by artists like Miro, Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, etc. We have to make a blog to interpret each painting, and it will go in a quilt that she'll assemble. Lynn, Caroll, and I are joining in. (Thanks to Caroll for showing me this and getting me involved!) Lynn and I are going to use this as our April challenge block for the Intuitive Color and Design challenge (from Jean Wells' book). We'll apply the techniques we've learned so far to make our blocks for this particular project.
I thought I'd blog about it in case anyone else wants to give it a whirl. Hop on over to Em Celebrates! and check it out. There are still some pretty fun pages left to do! (I'm already considering tackling more than one! haha! 'Cause you all KNOW I need more projects!)
Hope you're having a good weekend!
Until next time,
Mama Pea
I checked them out. I like the ballerina one. What do you have in mind for doing something like this project? Do you make the block to look just like the painting?

Hello, friend above. It is your interp of the painting...you can make it as close as the child did from the book or use it as an outline. I have my interp and the original posted so you can see. I hope you join me!!!!
