I personally grant you the Buttonhole Award. You have been there when I needed you. You seem to always know the right thing to say to make me feel better. Thank you for being my friend and for a a job well done! PS: What a great Valentine's Day for Sweet Pea! Not many kids can say they have such a thoughtful Mom.

"Think you can't change the world? Too late, you already have. It was changed for the better the minute you were born. There are more people than you can imagine who will never be the same because they came in contact with you, if only for a fleeting moment." ~Gail Purcell
Saw this on My Empty Nest is Full of Cat Hair and thought of you.

We are all important to make this world go round. We all have our jobs and our positions. And no one is more important than another.

Happy Valentine's Day! We pretty much do the same thing too! We always get a little something for the girls too.

Love the poem! I'm going to send it to our youngest son; who sometimes looses his way struggling with school/work/living so far away. He is so talented, I don't want him to loose sight of "what [he] can do".

I agree with all of the above. And I think you don't even know how famous you are with your teaching, your blogging, and the helpful little things you do for people. My guess is that you have made huge differences in people's lives.
I enjoyed the poem, but I LOVE the last stanza; it is a really deep inspiration which could, as you say, be beautifully incorporated into a quilt. It could refer to a button (which you have used on many of the quilts you have so beautifully done) as well as the buttonhole.)
Happy Valentine's Day!

Love the quote (you always have the best ones!)!
Happy Valentine's Day!
