I forgot to take photos of my recent project to post today. Sorry! I'll try to post some tomorrow. So, today, it's just a little information and some fun photos.
My SIL saw this advertised in her local paper (near Beaver Dam, WI):
American Professional Ultimate Quilting Machine. Ultra-light aluminum.
Comes with stylus, stylus patterns, stencils, extra needles, bobbin winder, pre-wound bobbins, tons of fabric and more.
$5,000 obo. 920-520-0045
So, if you are in the market for a used longarm machine and live in Wisconsin or nearby, this might be a possibility. I am not sure I know this brand. I want a longarm so bad, but I'm about 3 years away from buying one.
We (I use that loosely...I got out of it...Sweet Pea and Papa Pea did it all) did a lot of raking this weekend.
They raked and threw the leaves in the trailer....
While Sweet Pea stompled them down.
All fall, Sweet Pea has been asking to go jump in a pile of leaves. She was in heaven. (Notice she lost her first tooth! See the gap in her bottom teeth?)
The hauled the leaves to the garden and dumped them out...
Back for another load. Repeat as necessary. Then, Papa Pea burned the leaves. Ahhhh...the joys of living in the country again. No more bagging!
And the cats were digging their new porch and house.
I'll try to have something more quilty for you tomorrow.
Have a great day.
Until next time,
Mama Pea
Great photos. I thought that's what leaves were for, jumping around in. Didn't you fancy a go

I love fall in the midwest!
Russ took out the 2 trees in our front yard shortly after we moved in. It makes me sad to think about, except when I think about it in the fall. Not so many leaves to rake! We still have a large one in the backyard, though, so Carmi gets her fall-leaf-pile jumping experience every year.

I'd be in heaven too if I could jump in a big pile o' leaves like that! Love the candy corn bags and can't wait to see the costume reveal. I love Halloween!

Love the pics! Your leaves have fallen! She looks like she is having FUN! The kitties look as if they are enjoying their porch and house :)
Hugs,

I want a long arm too! If only I had the space, not to mention the money! Now there are sit-down long arm machines. I have room for one of those, but there is still the little money thing. Alas!

Bags-cute? I could see them for b-day party treats.
Leaves-why rake? Except for the pile to jump in. Never burn them-it wrecks the ozone and they are the best mulch just where they lay. What a great big back yard you have!

Hit the wrong button. I said Bags-cute! exclamation point, not a question mark.

I wouldn't bother raking the leaves, except to give Sweet Pea somethng to jump into! But I imagine Papa Pea wants to get out and do something! Loving all these little bags!
