So cute!!! I think you did a fabulous job! And I am so 'sorry' to hear you have to make another trip to the store. that is just so sad! wink wink Great job, Stephanie!!

You sure are experiencing all the different crafts Stephanie! This is a great finish - love your cardinal.

I think it is fabulous for a first project!! I love how you did the tan. It has a very organic, folk-style look.

I'm so glad you found something relaxing while you were ill. It certainly turned out lovely. And lucky Sweet Pea! How's that new job going?

It turned out beautifully, Stephanie! I'm still working in mine. When I give my finger a relief from the hand quilting, I go into the sewing room and hook a few.
I am going to the fiber festival this year and have actually signed up for the all day rug hooking class that meets on Wednesday. I'm looking forward to it. I figure maybe I'll learn a few more tricks to this trade;)

Happy Fourth of July to you and your family!

Oooh, very pretty Stephanie! I've resisted the urge to rug hook -- surely don't need another new hobby LOL.

Now, do tell about this fiber festival. Do I need to go?

Your rug is beautiful. I can't get over how the back looks as good as the front. I have always wanted to try rug hooking but couldn't afford another hobby. I was just at the Hen House last Saturday. It was to tempting! Hope you have a great 4th.

Wow, this turned out super beautiful!!! I'm a big fan of cardinals. {Not the baseball team - I'm a Pirates girl!} I wouldn't change a thing about the workmanship - I love the different directions and think it might look stuffy if it were perfect.

So pretty! I think you did a fabulous job. I was wondering if you were going to let people walk on it, but I guess an AG doll won't hurt it too bad.

Great job! It's hard to tell - how large is it?

Stephanie, your rug is FANTASTIC!!!! Amazing!! It is perfect. It in no way looks like a beginner project! Awesome job.

I've always wanted to try this. Your project is beautiful - lovin that cardinal. I also love seeing how it changes at different angles. Seems like a great project to work on when you're feeling down.

Rug hooking is something I've wanted to try.

Love your cardinal!

Clearly I need to get my rug hooking project back out - it's fish and it will be awesome if I ever finish it!
