Just a quick post today. Sorry, it's all I have time for. I did get another Urban Nine Patch block sewn up this weekend. I love how it turned out!
Colors: Kona Snow, Kona Herb, Kona Turquoise (I think; I need to double check that one later), and linen.
I am having so much fun with these blocks. I sewed the corner blocks on and was really happy that the points matched without me even trying. Just a happy accident. I love those kinds of happy accidents!
The little puckers and gathers only appear after I finish the block, spray it with some starch, and press. I must be getting a little shrinkage. I think when it's quilted and washed, it will be just fine.
After I make my next block, I'll have four. I think I'll take a photograph of them all together then.

I don't think I've ever had as much fun with a specific block. Can't wait to see how this all comes together. :-)
Hope you're having a great day!
Until next time,
Mama Pea

Looking so good! I'm thinking about using my A Stitch In Color for my Deco blocks. Just at the thinking about it stage though. I'm not sure I'm ready to cut those fabrics yet! LOL!

That is a very cool block. Love how the curves lines come in a frame it. And I'm glad that you like corners meeting because that always give me the happiest glow. If the seams meet on the top of a doll head, I'm so happy, even though it will be covered with hair.

Okay, so it's taken me forever to comment on this, but I love your nine patch! And I love the pattern, too. I hope to incorporate it in my sampler quilt I'm working on. :)
